About The Position

ASRC Federal Advanced Research LLC (AFAR) is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Developer to join our Second-Level Engineering (SLE) Compliance and Automation Team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a full-time on-site position at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC). The SLE Compliance and Automation Team provides a shared engineering and information technology support service for SLE organizations within the Operational Support Directorate. The team contributes to this mission through executing tasks in the areas of automation management of National Airspace System (NAS) engineering and operational processes for documentation, safety risk analysis, systems security, NAS information and data sciences support projects.

Requirements

Must be a US Citizen.
Must have resided in the US for three (3) consecutive years.
Must possess a RealID Driver’s License/ID or current US Passport.
Candidate must reside or be willing to relocate within a commutable distance to Oklahoma City, OK.
All non-US Degrees must have a US Equivalency Certificate provided by the candidate.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Mathematics, or a Bachelor’s degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science.
Six (6) to Nine (9) years of related work experience.
Full-stack development experience; demonstration of knowledge will be required during the interview.
Experience in: Programming Languages: Java / J2EE, JavaScript, Ruby, PL / SQL
Experience in: Front-End Technologies: JavaScript, JQuery, HTML/CSS, JSP, Tag libraries
Experience in: Frameworks & Libraries: Spring, Hibernate/Eclipse ORMs, and Ruby on Rails
Experience in: Databases: Oracle / PostgreSQL
Experience in: Version Control & DevOps: GIT, GitLab/GitHub, CI / CD, Maven
Experience in: Web Services / APIs: RESTful services
Experience in: Operating Systems: Windows and Linux (RedHat preferred)
Ability to Work independently, as well as a team.
Ability to Research and problem solve; willingness to learn/try new things
Ability to Communicate effectively through verbal and written communication; including developing technical documentation.

Responsibilities
