Hiring.Cafe is building a 100× better job search engine that is fast, comprehensive, honest, and actually useful. The company indexes millions of jobs, removes noise, ranks what matters, and helps people find real opportunities without dark patterns, ads, or pay-to-win placement. The team believes in shipping product and listening obsessively to users, having grown from 0 to over 1 million monthly active users in 12 months. The role involves building AI agents to help people discover opportunities, a two-sided marketplace connecting jobs to candidates, and scalable infrastructure to transform web data into a searchable platform. Engineering, data, and design decisions directly shape how people find their next chapter.
Requirements
- Desire for ownership, leverage, and responsibility from day one.
- Technically strong with solid fundamentals in programming and systems design.
- Ability to learn fast and go deep on unfamiliar problems.
- Obsessive about details, quality, and correctness.
- Relevant experience shipping full-stack product.
- Experience building polished React / Next.js interfaces.
- Experience owning backend API routes and data flows across Firebase, Elasticsearch, Redis, Stripe.
- Experience building large-scale data pipelines using LLMs.
