About The Position

The Search Team within Retail Web Technology is responsible for building and enhancing scalable, high-performance search experiences across client-facing digital platforms. The team focuses on improving search relevance, performance, and user experience by leveraging modern cloud-native architectures, microservices, and intelligent data processing. The team operates in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with product, architecture, and business partners to deliver client-centric solutions and drive continuous innovation. As a Software Developer - Sr. Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end full-stack features within the Search platform. This role focuses on building scalable applications, improving search relevance and performance, and working within established architecture while adopting modern engineering and AI-assisted development practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • 4+ years of full-stack development experience
  • Strong expertise in Angular, JavaScript, C#, .NET Core, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs
  • Experience building microservices and cloud-native applications
  • Experience building Single Page Applications using Angular or similar frameworks
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and performance optimization techniques
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and Agile methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving ability, communication skills, and ability to work across distributed teams
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and exposure to AI and machine learning concepts

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with search platforms
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with Splunk or similar monitoring and observability platforms
  • Familiarity with test-driven development, behavior-driven development, and modern testing frameworks
  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments
  • Advanced experience integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into production systems
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering, automation frameworks, and intelligent workflows
