Full Stack Engineer
About The Position
Joining Intuitive Surgical means joining a team dedicated to using technology to benefit patients by improving surgical efficacy and decreasing surgical invasiveness, with patient safety as our highest priority. Design, enhance and maintain internal websites, web applications and stand-alone Python applications. Full stack capability is required. You will design and implement both the front-end user interface and back-end application and database. The front-end is currently FastAPI and Vue 3. The back-end environment is currently Red Hat Linux and Microsoft SQL Server. We will be moving to cloud-based solutions such as AWS, Azure, and Snowflake.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering
- 3+ years of industry experience as a full stack web developer
- Expert in Object Oriented Python, JavaScript, node.js, SQL
- Test-driven development
- Full stack front-end & back-end web application development
- Must have experience with application architecture design
- HTML5, CSS, jquery, Ajax, Flask, FastAPI, Vue.js
- Microsoft SQL server, SQL database
- Web technologies such as RESTful APIs, JSON, WebSocket, sockets
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Snowflake.
- Git version control
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Technical writing for project proposals, documentation and test
