About the Role We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in React and Next.js to build, enhance, and maintain modern enterprise web applications. This role focuses on developing scalable, user-focused software products rather than marketing websites or campaign pages. The ideal candidate is a product-minded engineer who can contribute across the full application lifecycle, from designing technical solutions to building, testing, deploying, and improving production systems. The role also requires hands-on experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS), particularly headless CMS platforms. Experience with platforms such as Sanity, Contentful, Strapi, Ghost, or similar CMS solutions is highly relevant. The specific CMS platform is flexible, but practical experience working with headless CMS environments is required. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable applications that support evolving business needs. As part of a globally distributed engineering team, you will work during the Philippines daytime schedule to provide broader engineering coverage and collaboration.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience building production applications using React and Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience developing backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience working with a CMS, with experience in headless CMS platforms such as Sanity, Contentful, Strapi, Ghost, or similar solutions.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices including Git workflows, testing, and code reviews.
• Ability to independently solve technical challenges and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with distributed teams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience or familiarity with AI-assisted software development and emerging development practices, including awareness of how AI can be incorporated into a modern full-stack engineering workflow.
• Familiarity with concepts such as spec-driven development is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
• Build scalable front-end components and reusable application features.
• Develop, integrate, and work with backend services, APIs, and application integrations, with strong emphasis on web application development.
• Integrate and work with Content Management Systems (CMS), including headless CMS platforms such as Sanity, Contentful, Strapi, Ghost, or similar solutions.
• Develop and integrate backend services, APIs, and database solutions.
• Translate product requirements and business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Own features throughout the development lifecycle, from implementation to production support.
• Improve application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvements across the platform.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders in a remote environment.
