About The Position

The Full Stack Engineer will join Fidelity Investments’ Engineering Metrics Team to deliver insights into engineering metrics, GitHub Copilot adoption, and AI cost management through a unified developer experience portal. The role involves building full-stack features, integrating enterprise platforms, automating budget governance, and delivering production-ready releases. The position is a six-month maternity-leave project. The work arrangement is one week onsite and one week remote, and the posting seeks local candidates in Durham, North Carolina.

Requirements

• Experience with React or Angular for UI development.
• Experience with Node.js for API development.
• Experience with AWS services.
• Experience working in an environment using a next-generation database such as Snowflake or PostgreSQL; database development expertise is not required.
• Must be local to Durham, North Carolina, according to the posting.
• Must complete the Codebyte test within 24 hours if provided.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AWS EKS.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features using React and NestJS.
• Design secure RESTful APIs that integrate with enterprise platforms such as GitHub Enterprise, Power BI, and AWS.
• Automate GitHub Copilot budget governance using Python.
• Deliver production-ready releases through Jenkins CI/CD pipelines on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Help deliver insights into engineering metrics, GitHub Copilot adoption, and AI cost management through a unified developer experience portal.
