About The Position

As a senior software engineer in Core Internet Platforms, you will design, build, and operate scalable backend systems and cloud-native services. The role plays a critical part in building and maintaining secure authentication and authorization systems, with responsibility for protecting user identities, access, and sensitive data. It requires strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on experience with Go (preferred), and proven expertise in cloud deployments.

You will develop and maintain highly scalable, reliable backend services, own services throughout their lifecycle, and work with product managers, architects, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions. You will also help improve engineering processes, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines, while applying problem-solving skills to sophisticated engineering challenges.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of programming experience in Java, Node.js, Go, or a comparable language, building high-throughput APIs.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices to increase delivery velocity.
• Foundational operational skills with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud providers and platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience using AI developer tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Go is preferred.
• Proven expertise in cloud deployments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Envoy proxy configuration, service meshes, and routing or load-balancing systems.
• Familiarity with observability tools for logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance.
• Experience designing systems for high availability and fault tolerance.
• Prior experience leading medium-to-large technical initiatives.
• Experience with additional languages such as Java, C++, or Python.

Responsibilities
