Full Stack Engineer

Hubbard Broadcasting•Cincinnati, OH

About The Position

The Full Stack Engineer builds and maintains full-stack applications using TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, and Postgres. The role leads development of internal business applications, primarily an order management system (OMS), adjacent tools, and AI automations or agents, and oversees the product roadmap and additional feature development. The position delivers end-to-end product functionality, including user-facing interfaces, backend services and APIs, database design, and integrations with other platforms. It translates operational workflows into maintainable software, including roles and permissions, validations, edge cases, and change-management readiness. The engineer designs integration patterns for internal tools and systems such as finance and billing, reporting, and storage. The role owns production readiness through automated testing, release discipline, monitoring, performance tuning, and incident-friendly design. It also builds and maintains AI-enabled features, tools, agents, and automations, partnering with the AI Solutions Architect to align with shared platform standards for identity and access, logging and audit trails, integration contracts, and AI-ready data patterns. The engineer collaborates with stakeholders to define requirements, manage scope, iterate quickly, and encourage adoption through usability and reliability. The position includes maintaining documentation, contributing reusable components and patterns, improving engineering practices, identifying technical debt, and proposing pragmatic refactors that improve velocity and reduce operational risk. Other duties as assigned.
