About The Position

The Full Stack Engineer is responsible for consistent delivery of functional software from sprint to sprint and release to release. The role contributes to application-level architecture, develops creative technical solutions, and ensures software deliverables are ready for quality assurance through end-to-end tests, unit tests, and automation. The engineer supports implementation of moderate-scope projects or major initiatives, works on complex assignments that may span multiple project phases, assists with departmental technical policies and procedures, and may help establish plans for projects of moderate scope.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 6–9+ years of Java development experience.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, including contract design and core API development.
• At least 2 years of experience with AWS and other cloud-based development methodologies and best practices.
• At least 2 years of JavaScript experience.
• Experience with Git, Java, JavaScript, Jenkins, Docker, AWS, Python, shell scripts, JSON, and Copilot.
• Cloud database experience with DynamoDB or RDS.
• Experience with serverless applications and EKS-based applications.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-resolution skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

• Angular experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver functional software consistently from sprint to sprint and release to release.

• Participate in application-level architecture.
• Develop original and creative technical solutions for ongoing development efforts.
• Ensure software deliverables are QA-ready, including end-to-end tests, unit tests, and automation.
• Support implementation of moderate-scope projects or major initiatives.
• Work on complex assignments that may involve multiple phases of a project.
• Assist in developing departmental technical policies and procedures.
• May assist in establishing project plans for projects of moderate scope.
