About The Position

ElevenLabs is hiring a backend-leaning full-stack engineer for its Payments team, which owns billing, usage tracking, pricing, and payments across self-serve and enterprise customers. These systems underpin company revenue and are directly visible to customers, so correctness and reliability are essential. The role involves expanding and evolving payment systems, including accurate usage metering, enterprise pricing and usage processing, stream-processing services for usage events, and customer payment experiences that support multiple entities and payment providers. The engineer will work with Finance and Tax on compliance, audit, and reporting requirements, and with Growth and product teams to enable pricing experiments. Much of the work extends or replaces existing systems. The engineer will carefully scope projects, plan migrations, and roll out changes without disrupting customers. They will also investigate complex billing issues by piecing together customer experiences, logs, and code, then fixing root causes, while collaborating with Sales, FDEs, Finance, and engineers across the company. ElevenLabs describes its working culture as high-velocity, impact-oriented, AI-first, focused on excellence, and globally distributed. The team is based primarily across the UK, EU, and US, with flexibility for exceptional candidates elsewhere. The role can be performed remotely or from offices in Dublin, London, New York, San Francisco, or Warsaw.
