About The Position

Rockstar Games is seeking a passionate Full Stack Engineer for its Online Services Team at its NYC headquarters. This role involves working on the technology platform that powers Rockstar's online titles and player experiences. The engineer will be part of an enabling team, contributing to connected experiences across game franchises, including services like matchmaking, cloud saves, player stats, and leaderboards. The Core Tech: Online Tooling team specifically focuses on the architecture, foundational systems, and developing pathways for managing the online environment.

Requirements

A degree in computer science or 3+ years of equivalent experience in professional web development.
3+ years of experience using React (TypeScript/JavaScript).
3+ years of experience using C#.
2+ years of experience with T-SQL.
2+ years of experience with source control, preferably Perforce.
Application of software development best practices.
Knowledge of Agile software development processes.
Great communication skills as a core member of an internationally-based team.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with Redis, MongoDB and automated testing.
Exposure to Elasticsearch is desirable.
Passion for web technologies and a desire to remain up to date with the latest technologies.
Knowledge and application of web security best practices.
Experience or knowledge of authentication and authorization best practices.
Experience publishing and maintaining npm and NuGet packages.
Knowledge of accessibility best practices.
Knowledge of Rockstar’s game titles and passion for playing video games.

Responsibilities

Develop features and applications utilizing C#, MSSQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript with React.
Utilize best practices to ensure full test coverage and contribute to technical documentation.
Collaborate with other teams across our global organization to implement solutions that enhance developer experience.
