Full Stack Software Engineer – C#/.NET & React
About The Position
CTG is seeking to fill a Full Stack Software Engineer – C#/.NET & React position for our client. This is a remote, 6-month contract role. The engineer will design, develop, test, and deliver software solutions supporting key business and stakeholder needs. They will work as a senior member of a product development team to build and enhance full-stack applications, developing scalable and maintainable backend solutions using C# and .NET, and modern front-end applications using React. Collaboration with product owners, business stakeholders, software engineers, and other technical teams is essential for understanding requirements and delivering high-quality solutions. The role involves participating in the full software development lifecycle, contributing to code reviews, technical design discussions, and software engineering best practices. Support and improvement of automated build, testing, and deployment processes, as well as troubleshooting application issues and implementing effective technical solutions, are also key responsibilities. The engineer will stay current with emerging software development technologies, tools, and practices.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in C# and .NET software development.
- Strong full-stack software engineering skills.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, APIs, and application architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Senior-level experience developing full-stack software solutions in a professional environment.
- Demonstrated experience building and supporting applications using C#/.NET.
- Experience working in an Agile or product-oriented software development environment.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience developing front-end applications with React preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices preferred.
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) experience is a bonus.
- Experience using AI-assisted code generation and development tools is a bonus.
- Experience with modern front-end development, preferably using React.
- Experience with CI/CD and automated software delivery practices preferred.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and AI-assisted software development tools is a plus.
