About the position
Nightfall is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design and develop features that have a significant impact on both current and future customers. The role involves addressing engineering challenges such as data structure architecture and presenting analytics in an intuitive and efficient manner. The ideal candidate should have experience in building or working on production applications and should be focused on improving user processes and delivering features that are immediately utilized by customers. The company utilizes various tools including Go, Node.js, React, Python, Cassandra, Redis, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, and Envoy. Nightfall is a cybersecurity startup dedicated to securing and managing sensitive data for organizations.
Responsibilities
- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
- Developing and supporting software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
- Coordinating cross-functionally to ensure projects meet business objectives and compliance standards
- Supporting the test and deployment of new products and features
- Participating in code reviews
- Building or working on production applications
- Understanding users and identifying ways to make their day-to-day processes easier to manage
- Shipping features that are immediately used by customers
- Iterating on new products based on customer feedback
Requirements
