About the position
Nightfall is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design and develop features with a tangible impact on active and future customers. The ideal candidate will have experience building or working on production applications and will enjoy understanding users' needs to make their day-to-day processes easier. The company is a cybersecurity startup dedicated to helping organizations secure and manage their sensitive data, and the product uses machine learning to discover, classify, and protect sensitive data across cloud footprints. The role requires writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code, and coordinating cross-functionally to ensure projects meet business objectives and compliance standards. The company uses a variety of tools, including Go, Node.js, React, Python, Cassandra, Redis, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, and Envoy.
Responsibilities
- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
- Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
- Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
- Support test and deployment of new products and features
- Participate in code reviews
