About The Position

Design, develop, and support enterprise eCommerce solutions using .NET/C# and Optimizely Configured Commerce (formerly InsiteCommerce). Direct Optimizely experience is preferred but not required; strong .NET/C# engineers with enterprise eCommerce experience who can quickly learn the platform are also sought. The role collaborates with front-end developers, architects, product owners, digital and integration teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, high-performing commerce solutions for B2B and B2C customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• 3–5 years of experience developing enterprise eCommerce applications, preferably supporting B2B and B2C business models.
• Strong proficiency in .NET and C#, including object-oriented design, dependency injection, API development, debugging, testing, and application architecture.
• Understanding of enterprise commerce platforms, API-driven integrations, and distributed application architectures.
• Experience integrating commerce applications with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, PIM, payment, identity, pricing, inventory, or order management solutions.
• Working knowledge of modern front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or Angular, and ability to collaborate with front-end developers.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce concepts including catalogs, pricing, account structures, permissions, ordering workflows, checkout, order history, and customer self-service.
• Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases, including data modeling, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Git or another source control system.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and become productive with new enterprise platforms and technologies.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future; temporary visas are not eligible.

Nice To Haves

• Direct experience with Optimizely Configured Commerce/InsiteCommerce.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud-native architectures, observability, monitoring, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with another enterprise eCommerce platform.
• Experience with headless or composable commerce architectures and modern front-end frameworks such as React or Next.js.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and application scalability practices.
• Experience supporting advanced B2B capabilities such as contract pricing, customer-specific catalogs, quote-to-order processes, approval workflows, PunchOut, and complex account hierarchies.
• Experience on Agile product teams using Azure DevOps or similar delivery and backlog management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain enterprise B2B and B2C eCommerce capabilities on Optimizely Configured Commerce using modern .NET/C# practices.
• Design and implement commerce functionality for product discovery, customer accounts, pricing, carts, checkout, ordering, and self-service.
• Translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions in partnership with product owners, architects, developers, and stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and support integrations with enterprise systems using APIs and event-driven integration patterns.
• Optimize commerce platform performance, resiliency, scalability, accessibility, and SEO.
• Troubleshoot application, API, integration, database, and enterprise-system issues; identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and promote coding standards, quality, and best practices.
• Stay current with commerce technologies, .NET practices, cloud technologies, and Optimizely capabilities.
