About The Position

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong React and Java development experience to enhance an enterprise cloud self-service platform. The role focuses on modernizing user interfaces, improving the developer experience, and building AI-powered agents that help software engineers access cloud services and reduce support tickets. This is a front-end-focused full stack position, with approximately 60% front-end and 40% back-end development. The position is onsite in Jersey City, New Jersey, five days per week. Relocation candidates are welcome. The role is open to W-2 employment only; C2C, 1099, and third-party resumes are not accepted. The client accepts only U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, and Green Card EAD holders.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with React and modern front-end development.
• Professional Java development experience.
• Experience with Spring Boot and REST API development.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of full stack application development and software engineering best practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile teams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing AI agents or agentic workflows.
• Experience building enterprise self-service applications or developer portals.
• Familiarity with public and private cloud platforms.
• Experience improving user experience and modernizing existing front-end applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance responsive user interfaces using React.
• Build and maintain back-end services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Contribute to modernization of a cloud self-service platform supporting public and private cloud environments.
• Develop AI-powered agents and agent-driven workflows to improve self-service capabilities.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and support database integrations.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Improve application usability, performance, and overall developer experience.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and iterative UI redesign initiatives.
