This full-time position is 100% U.S.-based remote, with candidates from California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Washington excluded. The role leads the Edifecs application support organization and is responsible for operational stability, scalability, compliance, and strategic alignment. The position requires U.S. citizenship and possession of, or eligibility to obtain, a Public Trust (MBI). Selected applicants are subject to a government security investigation and may undergo background checks that include criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness. The Edifecs Platform Manager provides technical oversight, manages staffing, drives roadmap execution, and partners with product, architecture, vendors, and business teams. The role guides architecture decisions, modernization, cloud scalability, and performance strategy. It configures and maintains Edifecs components, guides EDI Analysts in creating and optimizing processing rules and workflows, troubleshoots transaction and performance problems, manages logging and JVM tuning, and supports releases, environment refreshes, patching, and upgrades. The position collaborates with EDI Analysts, DevSecOps Engineers, cloud teams, and business teams to maintain production operations. The successful candidate will bring substantial EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations, software, or data engineering experience, with strong AWS experience and hands-on knowledge of Edifecs architecture and platform operations. Edifecs certification is listed under professional certifications. A master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline is listed under formal education. The posting describes that degree as formal education but does not explicitly label it as a mandatory requirement. This is a W-2 position. Interviews are conducted on Microsoft Teams with camera on, and applicants will be asked to provide a LinkedIn profile link. SSG does not consider recruiters or third parties, and applicant screening answers must be supported by the resume.
