About The Position

DTCC is seeking two Full Stack Developers, one senior-level and one mid-level, to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The role involves work across backend services, front-end interfaces, data platforms, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices, with an emphasis on reliable, secure, high-quality software solutions. The positions are onsite three times per week in Jersey City, Dallas, or Tampa. The posting describes a 6–12 month duration with a contract-to-hire arrangement. Senior roles require 9+ years of experience; the mid-level role requires 3–6 years. Compensation details vary by level and engagement arrangement as stated in the posting.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java 11 or later.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework, including Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with Oracle relational databases, including SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of Redis for caching and session management.
• Experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture and real-time data streaming.
• Proficiency in a modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building responsive and accessible user interfaces.
• Experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Senior-level role: 9+ years of experience.
• Mid-level role: 3–6 years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with message queuing systems beyond Kafka, such as RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ.
• Exposure to observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of API gateway and service mesh patterns.
• Understanding of security best practices, including OAuth2, JWT, and encryption at rest and in transit.
• AWS or Azure certification.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
