About The Position

Vertiv is seeking a skilled and self-directed Full Stack Developer (React) to own the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of Site Scope, an internal web application built on a modern React within the Digital organization. Site Scope serves as a centralized operational tool that surfaces data, workflows, and intelligence for internal Vertiv stakeholders, and this role is the primary engineer responsible for the platform. The Full Stack Developer will build and maintain both the React frontend and supporting backend services and APIs using Node.js, deploying and operating the application in AWS cloud environments. This position plays a direct role in advancing Vertiv's Operational Excellence strategic priority by ensuring Site Scope remains a performant, maintainable, and high-quality platform that digital teams and business users can rely on. As an individual contributor, this role extends across the full application lifecycle — from feature development and UX refinement to CI/CD pipeline ownership, test automation, and production monitoring. This role will also drive the integration of AI and GenAI capabilities into Site Scope, including connecting LLM APIs and embedding intelligent features that increase the application's value to its users. The Full Stack Developer partners closely with technology and business stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality, scalable engineering solutions, and actively contributes to Vertiv's Customer Focus & Innovation priorities by delivering a tool that is intuitive, fast, and continuously improving. This position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Westerville, OH - HQ office location.
