Full Stack Developer (Lisbon)

The ustwo European Studio is seeking an experienced Senior full-stack Software Developer to join their digital product team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in frontend web development, backend development, and infrastructure development. They will work collaboratively in a cross-functional team to solve complex problems and create intuitive products. The candidate should possess strong software development fundamentals, be highly collaborative, and have excellent communication skills. They should also be adaptable, resilient, and have a desire to learn and grow.

Work across the web stack, including frontend web development, backend development, and infrastructure development

Solve difficult problems and build beautiful and intuitive products within a cross-functional team

Keep up with the latest trends in technology and have solid software development fundamentals

Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams using Agile and Lean principles

Communicate ideas and concepts clearly to a diverse range of stakeholders

Share thoughts, ideas, and work in progress

Seek out opportunities to learn and promote regular feedback

Handle pressure and work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment

Apply software development practices across a range of industries, deliverables, and goals

Strong experience with React or another major web framework

Experience building and working with backend services

Experience with containerized services and orchestration

Working knowledge of modern cross-browser HTML5+, ES6+, and CSS3+

Knowledge of frontend application patterns and how to apply them for various requirements

Awareness of development libraries and frameworks and how to choose between them

Experience working with databases and different types of datastores

Knowledge of API design and experience with API integration, testing, and implementation

Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Deployment

Experience with automated testing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience working within agile environments including Scrum/Kanban

Experience with deploying, hosting, securing (desirable)
