About The Position

BAM is seeking a full stack software developer to design, develop, and maintain web- and mobile-based software applications. The role involves delivering high-quality, performant web experiences and building reliable, efficient software using C# and .NET Core. The developer will work with relational and NoSQL databases, AWS cloud services, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, while following established development processes and participating in code reviews and agile ceremonies. The position calls for close collaboration and communication with colleagues, technical personnel, and stakeholders. The developer will investigate customer and system requirements, resolve complex software issues, maintain technical documentation, and contribute to continuous learning and improvement. The role also includes providing and receiving guidance and mentorship, contributing in a fast-paced agile environment, and proactively taking on additional responsibilities. BAM describes this as a fully remote position.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience and/or certifications.
At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in C# and .NET Core and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks, custom JavaScript using popular libraries, and advanced web technologies and techniques.
Experience with database design, data modeling, SQL, and database administration.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and experience integrating cloud services into software solutions.
Experience with microservice and modular architecture, RESTful development, API design, and reusability.
Understanding of UX design and ability to map business process workflows.
Hands-on Angular development in an enterprise implementation.
Understanding of user-centric design software tools.
Database design and enterprise data modeling experience with PostgreSQL.
Understanding of RESTful patterns and API endpoints.
Experience with AWS services for cloud computing.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Proficiency with Git version control.
Enterprise experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Proven involvement in agile work environments.
Ability to identify and use standard software design patterns.
Enjoyment of contributing to a fast-paced agile delivery environment.
Flexibility to proactively assume responsibilities beyond the boundaries of the specified role.
Ability to work independently using collaboration tools in a fully remote organization.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on OutSystems development in an enterprise implementation.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC and Kendo UI.
Hands-on experience with TypeScript.
Understanding of and experience with GitHub.
Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web- and mobile-based software applications.
Develop high-quality, well-designed, tested, efficient code using C# and .NET Core best practices.
Apply understanding of user interfaces, cross-browser compatibility, and web and mobile functions and standards.
Design and maintain relational and NoSQL database objects using MS SQL, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL, and optimize queries.
Implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services to enhance scalability, security, and system performance.
Use Git for version control and collaboration.
Analyze and investigate customer and system requirements to identify suitable solutions.
Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
