Full Stack AI Engineer
About The Position
Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated Full Stack AI Engineer to build secure, production-grade web applications and AI-powered solutions. The role supports tools used by field leaders, corporate executives, and property owners to drive performance and make decisions. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with a business solutions-oriented mindset and collaborates effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders. The position designs, builds, and supports applications across frontend, backend, and data layers, including secure sign-in, access control, and reliable data integrations. It also develops AI-driven solutions using Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and large language models on Microsoft Foundry. The role combines strategic design with operational execution and works on a team led by the Senior Vice President of Analytics to advance the company’s AI and data strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, and/or a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience building production web applications across frontend and backend.
- Strong modern JavaScript, React, and Node.js skills.
- Hands-on experience building LLM applications and AI agents, including Agentic AI, RAG, prompt design, tool/function calling, and evaluating results.
- Experience with Microsoft Foundry (Azure AI Foundry) and Azure OpenAI or similar LLM platforms.
- Experience developing and deploying machine learning models for predictive analytics.
- Data engineering knowledge, including SQL, data modeling, data pipelines, and Python.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric environments.
- Experience with authentication and authorization, including Microsoft Entra ID or OAuth 2.0, and row-level security.
- Daily use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
- Experience with Git, pull requests, automated testing, and CI/CD; Azure DevOps is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support secure, reliable, highly available full stack web applications and internal tools using React, Node.js, and serverless APIs.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and AI coding agents in day-to-day work, and review and correct their output.
- Design and deliver AI-enabled features and agents using LLMs, Agentic AI, and RAG on Microsoft Foundry, including tool use, guardrails, and evaluation.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models for predictive analytics to improve forecasting and budgeting.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, database schemas, and APIs that provide high-quality data to applications and AI solutions.
- Write automated unit, integration, and browser tests, and ship software through CI/CD pipelines.
- Resolve application and data integrity issues and implement measures to address root causes permanently.
- Support migration of legacy tools and systems to modern cloud, data, and AI technologies.
- Collaborate with company-wide stakeholders to create or improve technology.
- Monitor evolving technologies for opportunities to advance practices and solutions.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
