About The Position

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Full Service Customer Representative. This position fills products in full-service vending machines, maintains good customer service, and ensures customers receive current products. The role also includes keeping the areas around machines neat and clean, collecting money, and reconciling the route at the end of each day. The representative rotates, merchandises, and stocks products at assigned retail accounts; builds relationships with store owners and managers; maintains clean and appealing shelves, coolers, displays, and backrooms; manages inventory and places orders; and carries out customer development agreement elements and promotional programs. The representative communicates with Key Account Managers about account needs and priorities and performs other duties as assigned. The job requires a high school diploma or GED, an applicable driver's license for the vehicle class operated, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and PBV driving test. If the candidate does not already hold a required CDL, they must obtain a CDL permit by the 15th business day and the license within 45 business days of hire. Candidates must be able to lift 85 pounds and continuously push or pull product on a hand cart throughout the day, as well as work the hours necessary to complete assigned tasks. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
A driver's license appropriate to the vehicle class operated: CDL-A for combination vehicles over 26,000 pounds, CDL-B for vehicles over 26,000 pounds, or a regular license for vehicles under 26,000 pounds.
If a CDL is not currently held, obtain a CDL permit by the 15th business day and the license within 45 business days of the date of hire.
Pass a DOT physical before the first day of employment and provide a current DOT medical card if valid.
Be able to lift 85 pounds easily and continuously push or pull product on a hand cart throughout the day.
Be detail-oriented and have numerical aptitude.
Have good written and oral communication skills.
Be able to organize and prioritize tasks.
Successfully complete the PBV driving test and meet driving standards.
Be able to work the hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Nice To Haves

One year of route sales driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Fill products in full-service vending machines and ensure up-to-date products are supplied to customers.
Maintain good customer service.
Keep areas around vending machines neat and clean.
Collect monies and reconcile the route at the close of each day.
Rotate, merchandise, and stock products across assigned retail accounts, including gondolas, racks, coolers, and secondary displays.
Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners and managers through effective one-on-one selling.
Keep shelves, coolers, displays, and backroom areas clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Manage product inventory and place accurate orders to maintain in-stock conditions and minimize out-of-stocks.
Execute customer development agreement elements and promotional programs as directed.
Communicate regularly with Key Account Managers to align on account needs and priorities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
