About The Position

This is a part-time position for a Full Deck Cook at Jackpot Junction in Morton, MN. The role involves utilizing all Full Deck kitchen stations and equipment, maintaining product portion control, and adhering to safety and sanitation procedures. The cook will be responsible for stocking products, keeping areas clean and organized, and performing other assigned duties. The position requires sensitivity to various cultures, regular attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work any scheduled hours. The cook must serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel.

Requirements

  • Previous line cooking experience preferred.
  • Strong culinary and cooking station skills.
  • Strong communication and team work skills.
  • Accurate sense of timing.
  • Knowledge of proper safety and sanitization practices.
  • Ability to be dependable and self-motivated.
  • Ability to produce consistently high-quality food products.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
  • Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.
