About The Position
The Sumner County YMCA is Now Hiring for Full Circle Associate. In this role, you'll play a key part in creating a collaborative and supportive environment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them grow in spirit, mind, and body.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18
- A passion for working with individuals of all abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professionalism, sound judgment, and a heart for service
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Working with children and youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead fun and engaging activities while ensuring a safe environment
- Build positive relationships with participants, families, and YMCA staff
- Be an enthusiastic leader and role model for our participants
- Provide necessary care and assistance to participants
- Support and promote YMCA programs and initiatives
