About The Position

The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions of the community, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll support, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting leadership with timely, reliable financial information.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full charge bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and Google Drive.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience in senior living, healthcare, real estate, or property management

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other accounts.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Process payroll, timesheets, and prepare quarterly tax filings.
  • Process new employee onboarding paperwork.
  • Track and manage resident billing, collections, and move-in/move-out financials.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support financial decision-making.
