About The Position
The Full Asset Potential - Delivery Intern will help support the deployment of the Full Asset Potential Delivery program to our 9 operating sites across the globe. You will learn to solve real-world mining challenges, strengthen your ability to influence stakeholders, and master project management fundamentals. This is a project-based internship. Rather than generalized administrative tasks, you will be assigned a core technical project to own from start to finish. This role offers hands-on experience, culminating in an end-of-program presentation to technical leadership.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a rising senior in an Undergraduate program or final-year Master's student pursuing a degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy, or a closely related field.
- Foundational knowledge and experience working in open pit or underground mine, or associated processing plants.
- Strong technical writing, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze datasets, draw logical conclusions, and present findings clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build relationships and influence outcomes.
- Well versed in leveraging AI tools (Gemini, Claude, etc.)
- A collaborative mindset with an eagerness to learn and proactively ask questions.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid driver’s license required; willingness to travel to project sites if necessary.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a dedicated 12-week project, managing timelines, and delivering a final technical report and presentation.
- Coach sites to master the full potential delivery playbook.
- Train sites on tools to track project progress and estimate impacts.
- Develop solutions to accelerate timelines for projects experiencing delays.
- Analyze expected impacts across interdependent KPIs to identify bottleneck shifts or leakage.
