About The Position

The Fulfillment Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily fulfillment operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and compliance with company standards. This role serves as a hands-on leader on the floor, responsible for guiding team members, maintaining operational efficiency, and setting the standard for performance, accountability, and professionalism. The Team Lead plays a critical role in supporting Nuvia’s operational excellence by ensuring that all fulfillment activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with company expectations.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in fulfillment, warehouse, or operations
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in warehouses, fulfillment, or production environments
  • Customer Service experience
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience with inventory or warehouse systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Actively supervising team members throughout the shift, ensuring engagement and performance
  • Provide real-time coaching, direction, and feedback to team members
  • Address performance concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary
  • Promote a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment
  • Lead by example in attendance, productivity, and professionalism
  • Willingness to support all operations when needed ensuring success of the company as a whole.
  • Monitor daily workflow to ensure production goals and deadlines are met
  • Ensure all fulfillment activities follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Verify that all products meet quality standards before shipment
  • Coordinate with Material Handlers to maintain proper inventory flow and availability of supplies
  • Conduct routine checks on finished goods to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and report hazards immediately
  • Maintain compliance with all company procedures and operational standards
  • Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded in the system
  • Partner with inventory and operations teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Support cycle counts and inventory audits as needed
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the fulfillment team and management
  • Communicate daily priorities, updates, and issues clearly to team members
  • Collaborate with other departments (Inventory, Shipping/Receiving, Quality) to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor and document team productivity and performance
  • Provide updates to management on team output, challenges, and improvement opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and in compliance with company policies
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
