Fulfillment Swing Shift Supervisor
About The Position
As our Fulfillment Swing Shift Supervisor, you’ll lead the people and processes that help ensure our products reach customers accurately, efficiently, and on time. Working onsite in our warehouse, you’ll oversee swing-shift fulfillment operations and lead a team of four direct reports while helping create a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys improving how work gets done. You’ll coordinate daily fulfillment priorities, monitor workflow and capacity, and help ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. You’ll oversee inventory and material movement, maintain quality and productivity standards, troubleshoot operational issues, and adjust resources and priorities as business needs change. You’ll also partner across teams to address inventory availability, backorders, production schedules, and other issues that could affect fulfillment and the customer experience. Using ERP and warehouse management systems, you’ll help maintain visibility into operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and support accurate, efficient processes from order through shipment. Our work ultimately supports resources that serve churches, ministries, families, and communities, so we’re looking for a leader who takes pride in both operational excellence and the impact of getting the right products into customers’ hands at the right time.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse, distribution, production, or a related operational environment.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing employees while maintaining accountability for performance, productivity, and quality.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, shipping, inventory movement, and material flow.
- Experience working with ERP and/or warehouse management systems (WMS) and the ability to use operational information to identify and resolve issues.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize work, adjust to changing demands, and keep operations moving during high-volume periods.
- A collaborative communication style and the ability to work effectively across departments to resolve fulfillment, inventory, and customer-impacting issues.
- A commitment to workplace safety, accuracy, continuous improvement, and creating a positive team environment.
- The ability to work onsite in a warehouse environment on the swing shift and meet the physical requirements associated with the role.
