Fulfillment Pharmacist (Weekday, Overnight)
About The Position
Strive Pharmacy is a personalized compounding pharmacy focused on individualized care, clinical nuance, and strong partnerships with patients and providers. The Fulfillment Pharmacist works on the overnight team in Gilbert, Arizona, supporting clinical excellence, patient safety, and operational efficiency during production hours. The role includes reviewing and verifying prescription orders, checking compounding calculations, and conducting visual quality checks of sterile and non-sterile preparations. The pharmacist follows Strive Pharmacy’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), state regulations, and industry standards, and serves as a clinical resource for healthcare providers and patients. This is a full-time, onsite position scheduled Monday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The annual salary range is $125,000–$135,000. The work environment involves regular periods of sitting, standing, and computer use, with occasional lifting as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Active Arizona pharmacist license.
Nice To Haves
- Fulfillment experience in a retail setting or equivalent.
- Experience in compounding.
- Understanding of aseptic technique.
- Familiarity with USP guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Check entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Perform calculations to ensure formula ingredients are measured and used properly.
- Visually check lots compounded in sterile and non-sterile labs.
- Visually inspect individual prescriptions for color, consistency, and general appearance.
- Make and answer pharmacist-specific clarification phone calls.
- Counsel patients.
- Guide providers on appropriate therapy and dosing for individualized care.
- Work in accordance with Strive Pharmacy’s SOPs, state regulations, and industry standards.
