Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in inbound planning, capacity planning, warehouse operations planning, or supply chain process design, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
  • Hands-on experience with S&OP processes, demand planning, and inbound supply chain analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and enterprise planning tools.
  • Experience in forecasting methods, capacity modeling, and inbound process optimization.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Willingness and flexibility to participate in late-hour meetings to collaborate with cross-functional teams based in China.
  • Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with S&OP teams to plan, track, and align inbound demand forecasts and capacity across all fulfillment centers, ensuring readiness for peak seasons and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to balance inbound volumes against receiving and put-away capabilities, proactively resolving capacity constraints and unit discrepancies.
  • Establish and monitor key inbound performance metrics (e.g., on-time receipt rate, dock-to-stock cycle time, unit discrepancy rate) and drive corrective actions through root cause analysis.
  • Design and optimize end-to-end inbound processes, including appointment scheduling, receiving workflows, exception handling, and vendor compliance standards.
  • Define and formalize inbound rules with S&OP teams, covering lead time standards, shipment prioritization, order consolidation logic, and delivery window requirements.
  • Partner with WMS product teams to review, validate, and translate inbound process and rule requirements into system configurations and automation opportunities.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to align on demand plans, process updates, and system enhancements.
  • Provide regular inbound performance reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
