About The Position

The Bernard Group is a 100% employee-owned visual merchandising company seeking an enthusiastic Fulfillment Lead. This role involves mentoring and coaching employees in a specific area of responsibility, while also acting as a working lead who completes applicable work on job tickets and executes specific job requirements. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a talented group to deliver world-class products to customers, working with sustainable materials and supporting social change.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the printing industry.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Thorough and organized approach to work.
  • Close attention to details on every project.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Self-motivated, a fast learner, and show initiative to seek out customer and corporate needs.
  • Ability to complete projects accurately within deadlines, while meeting Company and Customer quality standards.
  • Effective time management and self-management skills.
  • Understand and maintain the confidential nature of the company, employee and customer information.
  • Ability to quickly move from one project to other while dealing with a very stressful deadline.
  • Flexible to change.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including, demonstrated listening skills and the ability to present ideas and thoughts concisely and effectively both internally and outside the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Process outbound customer orders.
  • Work closely with manager and other shift leadership in prioritizing and directing department workflow.
  • Ensure assembly integrity through continuous monitoring of departmental processes.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of supplies to meet production requirements.
  • Monitor issues and receipts for work orders.
  • Complete and quality check each job according to ticket specifications, producing quality work.
  • Help the Fulfillment Manager determine headcount in the area to adjust for work volumes.
  • Learn existing equipment and train and learn on new equipment.
  • Troubleshoot production problems to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
  • Perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management.
