About The Position

SpaceX is seeking a Fulfillment Buyer for the Starlink Indirect Procurement team. The role supports purchases for several Starlink locations and contributes to procurement objectives that affect the product and the company’s bottom line. The team works to improve supplier value and partnerships, challenging suppliers on cost, quality, and delivery. The position requires working quickly to support internal customers and procurement operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of experience working in supply chain or operations.
• Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Must be willing to travel to other sites as needed.
• Must meet U.S. Government export-control eligibility requirements: be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or be eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders quickly and accurately.
• Ensure suppliers acknowledge purchase orders.
• Obtain suppliers’ original promise dates.
• Review open order reports and manage deliveries.
• Resolve invoice issues and ensure vendors are paid on time.
• Expedite parts as necessary.
• Provide customer service to SpaceX internal customers.
• Support buyers in cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead miscellaneous procurement projects.
