About The Position

The Fulfillment Associate (Picker), also referred to as a Material Handler, accurately picks component parts from warehouse shelves to support production requirements and ensures items are prepared for production in a timely and efficient manner. The role may also support Shipping & Receiving tasks as needed, along with inventory control, cycle counting, and assigned project work. The position is based in a warehouse setting and involves standing and walking for extended periods.

Requirements

Ability to lift heavy items, often weighing 25–50 lbs.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic math and reading skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work as part of a team and model effective team behavior.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse or picking experience.
Bilingual English-Spanish.

Responsibilities

Pick and collect items from warehouse inventory according to job travelers.
Verify part numbers, quantities, and product quality.
Label and prepare orders for production.
Conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
Operate a computer and use the company's MRP system.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Report damaged or missing inventory to a supervisor.
Follow safety requirements, Quality Management Processes, and site safety programs.
Receive incoming materials and verify the quantities received.
Unload trucks and place materials in the proper locations.
Support Shipping & Receiving tasks and complete inventory control or project work as assigned.
