About The Position

The Fulfillment Associate picks, stages, inspects, and fulfills customer orders accurately and on time. The role maintains clean, organized, and safe staging areas; provides excellent customer service; and supports inventory accuracy and operational readiness. The associate operates powered equipment while maintaining required certification and follows all safety requirements. Additional duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• At least 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Certification for counterbalance forklift, order picker, and narrow aisle reach truck is required; certification must be obtained if not already held.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of retail experience.
• At least 6 months of experience in customer service or product fulfillment at a home improvement or hardware retailer in a related department, such as kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn, or garden.
• At least 6 months of experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading products or materials in or out of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Keep staging areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Choose high-quality items, validate orders, answer customer questions, and connect customers with appropriate associates when needed.
• Operate powered equipment and maintain certification for a counterbalance forklift, order picker, and narrow aisle reach truck; follow safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App, maintain SIMS compliance, and partner with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks, including audits, order follow-ups, and locker management.
• Promptly report safety or theft concerns.
• Carry out daily responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
