About The Position

The Fulfillment Associate picks, stages, inspects, and fulfills customer orders accurately and on time. The role includes keeping staging areas clean, organized, and safe; providing excellent customer service; operating powered equipment; supporting inventory accuracy; and completing administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks. Associates are expected to work with a customer-first mindset, communicate and collaborate effectively, and take on other duties as needed to support the business.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• At least 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Required certification for counterbalance forklift, order picker, and narrow aisle reach truck; certification must be obtained if not already held.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of retail experience.
• At least 6 months of experience in customer service or product fulfillment at a home improvement or hardware retailer in a related department, such as kitchen, plumbing, electrical, or lawn and garden.
• At least 6 months of experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading products or materials in or out of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time while keeping staging areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Provide excellent service by selecting high-quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with appropriate associates when needed.
• Operate powered equipment and maintain certification for a counterbalance forklift, order picker, and narrow aisle reach truck while following safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App, maintaining SIMS compliance, and partnering with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks, including audits, order follow-ups, and locker management.
• Promptly report safety or theft concerns.
• Complete daily responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
