About The Position

The Fulfillment Associate picks, stages, inspects, and fulfills customer orders accurately and on time. The role maintains clean, organized, and safe staging areas; provides excellent customer service by selecting high-quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with other associates when needed. The associate operates powered equipment while maintaining required certifications and following safety requirements, supports inventory accuracy using the Orders App and SIMS processes, and partners with leadership to resolve short picks. Additional tasks include audits, order follow-ups, locker management, and readiness and maintenance work. The associate reports safety or theft concerns promptly, works with a customer-first mindset, and may take on other duties to support business needs.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
At least 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
Required powered equipment certification for Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck; certification must be obtained if not already held.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
At least 6 months of retail experience.
At least 6 months of experience in customer service or product fulfillment at a home improvement or hardware retailer in a related department, such as kitchen, plumbing, electrical, or lawn and garden.
At least 6 months of experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.

Responsibilities

Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
Keep staging areas clean, organized, and safe.
Select high-quality items, validate orders, answer customer questions, and connect customers with the right associates when needed.
Operate powered equipment and maintain required certification while following safety requirements.
Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App and maintaining SIMS compliance.
Partner with leadership to resolve short picks.
Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks, including audits, order follow-ups, and locker management.
Promptly report safety or theft concerns.
Carry out daily responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork.
Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
