About The Position

The Fulfillment Associate picks, stages, inspects, and fulfills customer orders accurately and on time. The role keeps staging areas clean, organized, and safe; provides excellent customer service by selecting high-quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the appropriate associates; and supports inventory accuracy and operational readiness. The associate uses the Orders App, maintains SIMS compliance, works with leadership to resolve short picks, and completes administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks. The position may include other duties to support business needs.

Requirements

• Six months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Six months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Powered equipment certification for Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck; certification must be obtained if not already held.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of retail experience.
• Six months of experience in customer service or product fulfillment at a home improvement or hardware retailer in a related department, such as kitchen, plumbing, electrical, or lawn and garden.
• Six months of experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Keep staging areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Select high-quality items, validate orders, answer customer questions, and connect customers with the right associates when needed.
• Operate powered equipment while maintaining required certification and following safety requirements.
• Use the Orders App, maintain SIMS compliance, and partner with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks, including audits, order follow-ups, and locker management.
• Promptly report safety or theft concerns.
• Carry out daily responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
