About The Position

The Fulfillment Associate picks, stages, inspects, and fulfills customer orders accurately and on time. The role includes keeping staging areas clean, organized, and safe; delivering excellent customer service by selecting high-quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with appropriate associates; and supporting inventory accuracy through the Orders App, SIMS compliance, and collaboration with leadership to resolve short picks. Associates operate powered equipment and maintain required certifications while following safety requirements. The position also involves completing administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks, including audits, order follow-ups, and locker management, and promptly reporting safety or theft concerns. Other duties may be assigned to support business needs. The pay range is $16.00–$16.15 per hour. Starting pay may vary based on factors such as position, location, education, training, and experience. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
At least 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
Certification for Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck; certification must be obtained if not already held.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
At least 6 months of retail experience.
At least 6 months of experience in customer service or product fulfillment at a home improvement or hardware retailer in a related department, such as kitchen, plumbing, electrical, or lawn and garden.
At least 6 months of experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.

Responsibilities

Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
Keep staging areas clean, organized, and safe.

Operate powered equipment and follow all safety requirements while maintaining required certifications.
Use the Orders App, maintain SIMS compliance, and partner with leadership to resolve short picks.
Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks, including audits, order follow-ups, and locker management.
Promptly report safety or theft concerns.
Perform daily responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork.
Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
