About The Position

The Fulfillment Associate picks, stages, inspects, and fulfills customer orders accurately and on time. The role keeps staging areas clean, organized, and safe, provides helpful customer service, and supports inventory accuracy and operational readiness. It also requires operating powered equipment and maintaining required certifications while following safety procedures. Other duties may be assigned to support business needs.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• At least 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Certification for counterbalance forklift, order picker, and narrow aisle reach truck; certifications must be obtained if not already held.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of retail experience.
• At least 6 months of experience in customer service or product fulfillment at a home improvement or hardware retailer in a related department, such as kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden.
• At least 6 months of experience inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading products or materials in or out of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Keep staging areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Provide excellent customer service by selecting high-quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with appropriate associates when needed.
• Operate powered equipment and maintain required certification for counterbalance forklifts, order pickers, and narrow aisle reach trucks; follow safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App, maintaining SIMS compliance, and partnering with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks, including audits, order follow-ups, and locker management.
• Promptly report safety or theft concerns.
• Complete daily responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
