Seasonal Fulfillment and Receiving Support Associate, Fox River
About The Position
As a Seasonal Fulfillment and Receiving Support Associate, also known as a Back of House colleague, you support store operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and help provide a smooth customer experience. You receive and organize merchandise, pick and pack orders, retrieve orders from back-of-house storage, deliver orders curbside, and monitor alerts to ensure Buy Online Pickup In-Store orders are ready on time. You also help keep the stockroom and sales floor running efficiently. The role includes customer interactions such as warmly greeting shoppers, resolving issues, and carefully delivering curbside orders. You help maintain a shoppable space by recovering the sales floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, restocking merchandise, and supporting merchandise moves. You contribute to sales goals, customer satisfaction, and store performance through teamwork, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Resourceful, adaptable to changing priorities, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Receive, tag, and organize merchandise and maintain an orderly stockroom.
- Pick, pack, and retrieve customer orders from back-of-house storage.
- Deliver orders curbside and monitor alerts to ensure Buy Online Pickup In-Store orders are ready on time.
- Greet customers, listen to their needs, resolve issues, and provide helpful service.
- Recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, restock merchandise, and support merchandise moves.
- Share Loyalty program benefits, help customers with their purchases, and thank them for their business.
- Complete orders and organize the stockroom at the end of the day to prepare for the next day's operations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support customers and store results.
- Work toward daily sales goals and learn from colleagues to improve performance.
