About The Position
Jackson Energy Logistics is hiring experienced Class A CDL Fuel Transport Drivers to deliver fuel to retail store partners. This local-route position is based at an assigned terminal, with drivers home daily. Drivers safely operate tractor-tanker combinations, load and unload petroleum products in compliance with DOT regulations, complete inspections and paperwork, and provide customer service at each stop. The role offers annual earnings, bonuses, seasonal slowdown pay, benefits, and advancement opportunities. Drivers must reside within 40 miles or no more than one hour’s drive time from their assigned terminal. No weekend days off for this role.
Requirements
- Be at least 23 years old.
- Have at least 1 year of recent, verifiable Class A CDL driving experience; tanker experience is preferred.
- Hold a current Class A CDL from the state in which you are applying, with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
- CDL must not be restricted to automatic transmissions.
- Have a TWIC card in applicable areas.
- Have no tickets or accidents in the past 12 months and no more than 1.5 points in the last 3 years.
- Pass a DOT physical, drug test, background check, and Jackson driving test.
- Reside within 40 miles or no more than one hour’s drive time from the assigned terminal.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting or moving up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly.
