About The Position

The Fuel Technician is responsible for maintaining fueling equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance on gasoline-related equipment. This role ensures a safe and clean work environment by adhering to established procedures, rules, and regulations. Responsibilities include dispenser calibration, documenting and communicating actions and needs to maintain continuity among work teams, and participating in training for existing and new equipment. The technician contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results and achieving financial and Key Result Area targets. Continuous professional and technical growth is encouraged through educational workshops, publications, networking, and professional societies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED or related field preferred. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
• 3-5 years’ experience in the maintenance field or more preferred.
• Able to use hand/electric cart.
• Able to use power and hand tools.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently in high priority, confidential, demanding business environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and must be insurable as a driver.
• Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fueling equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining gasoline related equipment.
• Provides preventive maintenance for fueling equipment.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance and may include dispenser calibration.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Participates in training for existing and new equipment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Increases professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines.
