Requirements

Completed or working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

Assists customers with pay-at-the-pump transactions and may help fill vehicles with fuel.
Operates cash register and performs checkout procedures, providing receipts and bagging merchandise.
Ensures receipt tapes in dispensers are full.
Responsible for inventory of fuel, vehicle accessories, and other products.
Manages all funds collected, including cash, checks, debit, and credit slips.
Maintains proper security measures and cash drawer accounting procedures.
May interact with the gas station POS vendor to resolve system issues.
Helps set up displays or promotional materials.
Greets customers, answers questions, and resolves concerns promptly and professionally.
Follows company policies for customer checkouts to enhance satisfaction.
Stays informed about weekly ads or specials to answer customer questions and ensure accuracy.
May distribute customer coupons.
Maintains general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and guidelines.
Ensures work areas, equipment, counters, and display cases are well-maintained, clean, and meet health and OSHA requirements.
Disposes of trash properly.
Remains alert to safety issues, particularly slip and fall hazards and dangers around combustibles.
Ensures smooth function of the department and store by cooperating with co-workers and supervisors.
Continuously improves job performance.
Utilizes all company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Performs other staff duties as required.
May assist in other departments.
