The Fuel Pricing Analyst will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical pricing recommendations to the operations teams while serving as a primary point of contact for site and field personnel in their respective geographic regions of responsibility. In addition, the role will have responsibilities for data analysis and identification of key promotional drivers and performance metrics for the entire division. The individual must possess a high degree of aptitude around data analysis along with the ability to differentiate between short and long-term planning and strategic decision-making relative to fuel pricing, margin, and volume performance. Manage day-to-day retail pricing of assigned markets, utilizing a combination of proprietary and licensed software applications. Serve as primary contact within designated geographic areas for issues and/or inquiries related to all business functions at the site and market-level including marketing, sales, and operations. Provide data analysis using available databases, spread sheets and BI tools. Assist in development of site level fuel margin and volume objectives. Report as necessary on fuels and marketing data to determine competitive market conditions and optimum fuel and supply strategy. Prepare performance projections to assist in earnings forecasts. Assist with fiscal year fuel budgeting process for Florida Division. Assist with capital projects related to the fuel department General support across multiple business functions (marketing, sales, operations, finance, supply & logistics) for the fuel department. Maintain compliance with federal, State and local laws regarding supply management, pricing, and record keeping for all fuels, ethanol, and additive handling. Perform site visits as needed to identify local market trends and site attributes that may assist in strategy refinement and operational compliance.
