About The Position

The Fuel Lube Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a company fuel and lube truck to provide fueling, lubrication, and basic maintenance support for heavy equipment and field operations. This role ensures equipment remains properly serviced and available to support daily construction activities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience operating a fuel/lube truck or performing equipment maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate around heavy construction equipment and active job sites.
  • Knowledge of basic equipment maintenance, fueling, and lubrication practices.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Must be physically capable of performing manual labor in various environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (over 50 lbs.).
  • Strong interpersonal competencies, including reliability, teamwork, communication, organization, and accountability.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company driving requirements.
  • Demonstrates strong housekeeping practices and maintains a clean, orderly work area.

Responsibilities

  • Operate fuel lube truck safely and efficiently on active construction sites.
  • Fuel and lubricate heavy equipment, trucks, and machinery according to company procedures.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of fuel usage, lubrication, and service activities.
  • Assist with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of fuel and lubricants.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, truck, and equipment.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and environmental requirements.
  • Communicate equipment issues or service needs to supervisors and mechanics.
  • Perform other general labor and construction-related duties as required.
