The Fuel Facility Technician is responsible for supporting the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of the aviation fuel storage, transfer, and hydrant systems. The position performs fuel-facility inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, fuel quality control, fuel receiving and transfer operations, inventory activities, regulatory-compliance duties, and required documentation. The Fuel Facility Technician routinely performs the functions of a Fuel Facility Operator as operationally required and directed by management, including receiving petroleum products, conducting fuel quality-control testing, monitoring fuel inventories, operating fuel-transfer equipment, and completing required operating records. The position helps ensure the continued operational integrity of the fuel facility and hydrant system in accordance with applicable requirements, including ATA Specification 103, ASTM and NFPA standards, the Swissport Ground Operations Procedures and Policy Manual (GPPM), site-specific procedures, environmental requirements, and management directives. This is a technical and operational position and does not confer supervisory, disciplinary, or personnel-management authority.
