About The Position

The Fuel Distribution System Operator (FDSO), Aircraft Refueler, will operate Maytag’s Deployable Fuel System (DFS) and fuel trucks at Pinal Airpark in Marana, Arizona. The role manages day-to-day fuel receipt, issue, quality surveillance, spill prevention, preventive maintenance scheduling, and fuel accountability. Operators use the DFS to receive and store bulk fuel and operate 500-gallon fuel trucks to refuel aircraft directly into the wing. Fuel truck operators must meet the into-plane fuel-handling requirements in addition to the DFS operating qualifications.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience operating fuel bulk storage and distribution systems and performing into-plane refueling.
• Capability to perform fuel receipt, issue, storage, spill cleanup, preventive maintenance scheduling, hazardous waste handling, and quality surveillance.
• Ability to calculate quantities from gauge and temperature readings.
• Certification as a hazardous waste handler under applicable Federal, State, and local requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Position of Trust.
• Valid CDL with a Hazmat endorsement.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Into-plane fuel-handling experience, in addition to DFS operating qualifications, for fuel truck operators.

Responsibilities
