About The Position

Pacific States Petroleum, Inc. is seeking a Fuel Delivery Dispatcher for its San Jose yard. The dispatcher serves as a central point of coordination for drivers, customers, and daily fuel delivery operations. This role requires attention to detail, urgency, and the ability to support seamless logistics and communication in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, salaried position with a starting pay of $75,000 annually. The schedule is Monday through Friday on the day shift.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a dispatcher or a Class A/B driver.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new software.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of San Jose and Bay Area geography.

Responsibilities

• Strategically determine and manage daily routes for a group of 5–10 drivers, making real-time adjustments to support efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor driver progress and manage time and attendance.
• Coordinate daily activities with account managers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming customer calls and driver communications, addressing service requests, issues, and questions.
• Promote a positive safety culture and work to improve driving staff productivity.
• Monitor fuel prices and loading preferences.
• Assist with data collection for incentive pay programs.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
