About The Position

The Fuel Center Clerk assists customers, operates the cash register, pumps gas, and maintains the neatness and cleanliness of the fuel center. The role includes recovering stock and displays, completing inspections and required incident, security, and fuel spill reports, and maintaining compliance documentation. The clerk demonstrates the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety while providing customer service and following company policies and safety standards.

Requirements

Familiarity with industry or technical terms and processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Model Customer 1st behavior and deliver and encourage excellent customer service.
Pump gas.
Complete daily tours and inspections.
Fill out incident and security reports.
Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Reports.
Recover displays and maintain department cleanliness.
Perform cashier functions.
Answer telephones.
Comply with corporate policies.
Comply with all safety guidelines and standards.
Promote and follow company initiatives.
Maintain knowledge of emergency plan numbers and procedures.
Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner.
Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
